Client Services Team

The Client Services Team is responsible for servicing client accounts and developing new account leads by identifying and properly qualifying business opportunities.

Responsibilities include preparing formal business proposals, leading negotiations, coordinating complex decision making processes, executive oversight of projects, and analysis and reporting.

Operations Team

The Operations Team is responsible for quality control of surveys including omnibus, custom phone, web and mail.

Responsibilities include formatting, writing, reviewing and testing questionnaires for accuracy, logic and flow; briefing and monitoring of interviewers, sample specifications and tab plans, as well as back-end data checking. The team communicates with internal and external teams to assure the data and other deliverables meet with the project specifications.

Current Openings

The Associate Project Director (APD) provides support for survey research projects. The APD is responsible for quality control of surveys, including omnibus, custom phone, web and mail. Duties include formatting, reviewing and testing questionnaires for accuracy, logic and flow, as well as back-end data checking.  The APD will communicate with internal teams to assure the data and other deliverables meet with the project specs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Format questionnaires
  • Check CATI and web programs; check RDGs and annotates
  • Check and verify sample releases
  • Monitor interviews
  • Provide feedback on recordings and facilitate transfer to FTP site for client/internal staff review
  • Compare rates and incidences to estimates; provide daily/weekly rate/incidence updates
  • Set up tab plans and toplines
  • Check incentive files; text correction of incentive and verbatim files
  • Check coding, crosstabs and simple SPSS files
  • Provide clear specifications and schedule to operations team
  • Coordinate with Omnibus team on survey inserts
  • Provide background research
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing respondent communications
  • Other duties as the needs of the business dictate

Position Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, social science, business or equivalent combination of education and work experience

The Project Director (PD) manages and supports survey research projects with increasing levels of complexity.  The PD is responsible for quality control of surveys including omnibus, custom phone, web and mail. Duties include formatting/writing, reviewing and testing questionnaires for accuracy, logic and flow; briefing and monitoring, sample specs and tab plans.  This position will be heavy on back-end data checking.  The PD will communicate with internal and external teams to assure the data and other deliverables meet with the project specs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check back end data for all ad hoc and ongoing projects
  • Take ownership of projects under their direction
  • Format questionnaires
  • Check CATI and web programs; check RDGs and annotates
  • Check and verify sample releases
  • Write csum specs and tab plans
  • Brief interviewers and supervisors on studies in the field
  • Monitor interviews
  • Draft client feedback from interviews and monitored recordings
  • Compare rates and incidences to estimates; provide daily/weekly rate/incidence updates
  • Draft toplines
  • Complete internal/client project updates with senior staff direction
  • Check incentive files; text correction of incentive and verbatim files
  • Check coding, crosstabs and SPSS files
  • Draft client communications
  • Provide clear specifications and schedule to operations team
  • Coordinate with Omnibus team on survey inserts
  • Provide background research
  • Responsible for incoming and outgoing respondent communications

Position Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, social science, business or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in market research or combination of education and experience

The Research Director (RD) is responsible for implementation and oversight of projects of increasing complexity from study initiation through delivery of data and reporting. The RD estimates projects and writes proposals, either independently or with the Account Executive. The RD manages, maintains, and grows existing clients and oversees all work involved in successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with AE/VP in growing client’s business
  • Train and mentor Project Directors
  • Take ownership of projects under their direction
  • Understand and execute overall project goals and objectives
  • Prepare RFQs and proposals for clients
  • Manage client relationship/ongoing communications
  • Participate in study design
  • Run pre/post study meetings and internal project team meetings
  • Design questionnaires
  • Review final questionnaires/CATI programs to make sure client goals are being met
  • Optimize sample allocation to meet project goals/response rate commitments
  • Oversee project pre-test and finalize pre-test memos
  • Review csum specs/spec sheets/SPSS, tab and banner plans
  • Review internal/client project updates and determine course of action, if needed
  • Check complex SPSS files and review complex tabs
  • Weight data/review weighting procedures
  • Finalize methodology reports
  • Provide high-end analytic report review
  • Review final client deliverables
  • Monitor costs against budget
  • Assist in preparation of papers for presentations/white papers to be used for promotional purposes and marketing
  • Other duties as the needs of the business dictate

The Telephone Data Collection Project Manager is responsible for maintaining the master interviewing schedule and coordinating our requirements and expectations with our data collection facilities, both internal and external.

This person would be responsible for managing external cost estimates, gaining commitments on hours required, and monitoring the estimated versus actual performance across all projects.

The Telephone Data Collection Project Manager will work closely with the day-to-day Coordinators, related to projects that are running both internally and externally to share best practices and/or concerns related to the project.  He/She would need to become familiar with all study parameters (quotas, call rules, conversions, special dialing and/or release instructions) and reporting tools.  A formal review of performance by project/vendor will be required for all work conducted externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • With the assistance of the VP of Telephone Data Collection Services, formalize SOP’s for effective management of Vendor Relationships
  • Create standardized template for all CPI Bids to ensure consistent information is being provided to all outside vendors for each job bid
  • Negotiate with vendors to achieve appropriate cost for all studies, while maintaining partnership
  • Track all bids accepted/declined/renegotiated to monitor vendor trends
  • Manage all Call Center Master Scheduling needs to determine where projects will be worked
  • Understand and communicate hours, production and sampling needs/concerns
  • Other duties as the needs of the business dictates

Position Requirements:

  • College degree preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid decision making and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational skills, as well as strategic thinking, adaptability and creativity/innovation
  • Call center experience (preferably in market research/social science environment)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Cfmc, Voxco or other Call Center Management tools would be a plus
