Gauging Americans’ views on Orlando mass shooting

New Poll from CBS News

“A majority of Americans view the mass shooting over the weekend in Orlando, Florida as both an act of terrorism and a hate crime. They are divided over whether U.S. intelligence agencies could have prevented it, a CBS News poll out Wednesday morning shows.”

This poll was conducted by telephone June 13-14, 2016 among a random sample of 1,001 adults nationwide. Data collection was conducted on behalf of CBS News by SSRS of Media, PA. Phone numbers were dialed from samples of both standard land-line and cell phones.

Poll: Most disapprove of Trump’s Orlando response

“Fifty-one percent disapprove of the presumptive Republican nominee’s response to the massacre while just a quarter of Americans, 25 percent, approve, according to the CBS News survey released Wednesday.”
