Vice President – Health Policy & Public Opinion Research
Jordon Peugh has conducted social science research for discerning clients for almost two decades. Joining SSRS in 2013, Jordon is responsible for all elements of public opinion and health policy survey research for a variety of clients in non-profit, media, government, and academic sectors. Jordon holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from New York University. She has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed papers, appearing in Health Affairs, JAMA and others.
Jordon is actively involved in the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR), where she serves on the Education Committee, and the NY Chapter of AAPOR where she recently served as Communications Chair.
Prior to coming to SSRS, Jordon was VP at Knowledge Networks (acquired by GfK) and, before that, at Harris Interactive. In both organizations, Jordon led their health policy practice and managed projects on topics such as domestic and international health policy, needs and experiences of patients and physicians, adoption of health IT, impact of social marketing campaigns, and constituent loyalty.
She has also conducted research at the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services and the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University.
Jordon lives just outside of NYC with her husband and daughter, who knows to ask to “see the data” when she doubts something is true.
