Yvonne has been managing survey projects for SSRS for since 2009. The majority of this work has involved oversight of large, multi -mode studies aimed at measuring media utilization and preferences. Yvonne has also worked on developing consultancy relationships with several universities, providing support and guidance as each develops their own political and public policy polling centers while also building a book of work in litigation support and government funded research as well.
Her responsibilities include questionnaire design and review, sample management, and data collection management. She has co-authored conference papers, posters, panels, and publications with colleagues on topics such impact of incentive treatment & delivery on respondent recruitment & retention, probability vs. nonprobability sample recruitment for very low incidence populations, and the impact of mail design and processes on response rate & costs.
Yvonne earned her M.A. in Gerontology from the Davis School of Gerontology at the University of Southern California, and her bachelor’s degree in Organizational Dynamics from Temple University. She also attended Rutgers University where she completed all credits necessary to become an accredited teacher of secondary level English. Prior to coming to SSRS, Yvonne spent three years as the Manager of Data Collection at the New Jersey Institute for Successful Aging (NJISA) at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) and 18 years as the Associate Director of Field and Manager of the Center for Telephone Interviewing at Temple University’s Institute for Survey Research (ISR), where she managed both field and telephone research on a wide variety of topics including older adult care-giving, successful aging, welfare-to-work program evaluation, adolescent behavior & educational attainment, and the roles of nature vs. nurture in outcomes such as drug & alcohol use and depression . She has served for several years on the Executive Council of PANJAAPOR and on the Conference Support Sub-Committee of AAPOR. In her leisure time, Yvonne be found at home with her husband, three children, son–in-law, and identical twin granddaughters while cooking, hosting gatherings, and cheering on her kids from the sidelines of their many sports and musical adventures.
