Whether he is on the tennis court, playing ping pong, or hiking, Chintan enjoys being active. He runs laps around the entire SSRS team during the annual 5K, but everyone knows his real passion is research.
With over 28 years of experience in the industry, Chintan’s expertise spans the design and implementation of studies in social policy, political research, education, housing, and healthcare. He is a nationally renowned expert on probability-based online panels and data collection platforms and helped establish the first face-to-face recruited internet survey platform (FRISP), an online panel created in collaboration with Stanford. He also assisted in the design and implementation of the Pew Research Center “American Trends” Panel and created a large-scale state level probability-based panel for the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania.
As SSRS Chief Products Officer, he leads the probability-based SSRS Opinion Panel, SSRS Text Message Panel and oversees the build-out of ancillary panel-based products. An active SSRS representative, he frequently speaks at AAPOR, NYAAPOR, GOR (General Online Research), ESOMAR and CIPHER. He served as the president of the New York Chapter of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (2017-18) and is a member of the AAPOR task force on mode conversion and multi-mode data collection. He holds an M.B.A. in Marketing Research and Management from Baruch College (CUNY).
