Chintan Turakhia

Chief Products Officer

Chintan Turakhia is the SSRS Chief Projects Officer.  He has over 26 years of survey research experience and has expertise in all phases of survey research. His extensive experience includes design and implementation of large-scale studies in Public/Social policy, Litigation, Political Research, Education, Housing, and Healthcare. He works with a diverse set of public and private sector clients in developing custom solutions for their research needs.  In addition, he serves as Project Quality Advisor on a wide range of SSRS projects to ensure the highest quality research results for the clients. He has served as the president of New York Chapter of American Association of Public Opinion Research (2017-18).

Chintan is a nationally renowned expert on probability based on-line panels and data collection platforms.  His extensive experience includes establishment of first ever face-to-face recruited internet survey platform (FRISP) in 2008-2009.  This nationally representative on-line panel was established in collaboration with Stanford University with funding from NSF under Major Research Instrumentation (MRI) Program.  After that, Chintan helped design and establish the nationally representative on-line panel called The American Trends Panel for Pew Research Center (pewresearch.org).  He recently designed and established a large-scale probability-based panel for Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania.  He presently leads the probability based SSRS Opinion Panel and SSRS Text Message Panel.
