Hugo Holguin

Data Processing Director

Hugo is a food enthusiast and cat lover from Texas with almost 20 years of experience in the market research industry. He currently lives in Center City Philadelphia, where he loves exploring all the different cuisines the city has to offer.

Hugo joined SSRS as a Senior back-end programmer. His attention to detail was a key part in providing high quality work for substantial national and international health care projects.  He also worked with our sports team for projects with ESPN and NFL, and supported political, science and consumer research work.

In his current role, Hugo reports directly to, and is the second in command of, the Vice President of Data Processing. He oversees the department schedule and project assignment and prepares DP proposals for new work.

Outside of the office, Hugo DJ’s, dances, and teaches country and non-country line dancing. Whether he is downtown in Philadelphia, up in the mountains at country-themed weekend in a campground or at a private wedding event, he dances with a sparkle that he carries both on and off the dance floor.

Not only is Hugo an avid participant in activities organized by SSRS, he also has been part of them. As a member of the Health and Wellness Committee, he taught county line dancing to other employees during lunch-hour for an entire month. That year at the SSRS company holiday party, those dances were showcased by those who took Hugo’s lessons. Yeehaw!

When he is not working or line dancing, Hugo is indulging in one of his other passions – food. Whether eating it or making it, Hugo loves food! He is a great cook and baker and is always up for a challenging dish, even if he has never made it before.  One of his signature dishes that he shares with the SSRS team is his delicious Tres Leches cake.  You need to grab a piece fast or it’s gone.
