The SSRS Opinion Panel Qualibus is the qualitative companion that adds nuance and depth to the Omnibus survey findings.  It consists of two options: focus groups and in-depth interviews (IDIs).

SSRS Qualibus Focus Groups

SSRS Qualibus Focus Groups are multi-client Zoom-based focus groups of SSRS Opinion Panel members that are conducted concurrently during the Omnibus field period. Clients can purchase segments of the discussion guide to gather stories, voices, and quotes to complement their survey questions.

SSRS Qualibus In-Depth Interviews (IDIs)

SSRS Qualibus IDIs allow clients to follow up with individual Omnibus respondents to explore their responses in 30-minute Zoom in-depth interviews. These interviews are conducted shortly after the Omnibus field period ends.

SSRS Opinion Panel Qualibus Design and Data Collection

Focus Groups

During the field period for each SSRS Opinion Panel Omnibus, our qualitative team can conduct a concurrent Qualibus Focus Group with a mix of adult participants from our SSRS Opinion Panel. Clients can purchase 30, 60, or 90-minute segments of the moderator guide.

In-Depth Interviews (IDIs)

After the Omnibus is complete, clients may want to follow up with specific respondents to learn more about their attitudes and beliefs. Our qualitative team can conduct 30-minute follow-up interviews with a tailored set of Omnibus respondents to dig deeper into the survey findings.

Standard Deliverables

Every SSRS Opinion Panel Qualibus Study includes the following deliverables at no extra charge:

  • Transcripts
  • Video recordings
  • Summary of findings

Schedule

The SSRS Opinion Panel Omnibus generally fields on the first and third Friday of every month. The SSRS Qualibus Focus Group fields concurrently with the Omnibus, and the SSRS Qualibus IDIs are fielded shortly after the Omnibus field period ends.

Pricing

Qualibus Focus Group Pricing

  • $5,000 for each 30-minute segment of the focus group
  • $7,000 for each 45-minute session
  • $9,000 for the entire 60-minute session
  • $13,000 for the full 90-minute

Qualibus In Depth Interview Pricing – Minimum 5 IDIs

  • $1,800 per IDI 1 through 9
  • $1,600 per IDI 10 through 14
  • $1,400 per IDI 15 and beyond
