Jania is a Research Director with more than 20 years of experience designing and leading qualitative and quantitative research for academic institutions, nonprofit organizations, public policy centers, and Fortune 500 companies. She specializes in translating complex research questions into rigorous study designs that produce meaningful, actionable insights.
Throughout her career, Jania has conducted extensive research with teens, youth, young adults, parents, and educators using a wide range of methodologies, including probability and nonprobability surveys, in-depth interviews, focus groups, cognitive interviews, online communities, and parent-child dyad research. Her work spans topics including education, media, civic engagement, technology, financial well-being, health, and public opinion.
Jania has led research for organizations including Common Sense Media, the Annenberg Public Policy Center, the University of Notre Dame, the Financial Health Network, Fannie Mae, and the National Education Association. She has also partnered on research initiatives with the University of New Hampshire and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
An active leader in the public opinion research community, Jania serves as Vice President and President-Elect of the New England Chapter of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (NEAAPOR). She is committed to advancing methodological excellence and fostering collaboration among researchers across academia, government, and industry.
