Megan Lazovick

Vice President

Megan’s curiosity often gets the best of her, sending her deep into her subject matter. A colleague once said, “Any topic she studies, she is all in” — and that drive has defined her work as Vice President at Edison Research at SSRS.

She has spent her career tracking how consumer behavior in audio and media evolves alongside technology, making sure the industry keeps pace. She works to develop the research products and partnerships that help the world’s largest media companies understand their audiences. She presents The Infinite Dial, the longest-running survey of digital media behavior in America and one of the most anticipated reports in the industry, and The Podcast Consumer, Edison Research at SSRS’s definitive annual study of the U.S. podcast audience.

Her work has also shaped other industry benchmarks including The Spoken Word Audio Report, The Kids Podcast Listener Report, The Women’s Audio Report, and The Fandom Phenomenon study, among others. Megan has presented her research to audiences worldwide, including at NAB, WorldDAB Automotive, Podcast Movement, RAIN Summits, and The European Radio Show. She also regularly guest lectures at universities such as NYU, Temple University’s Fox School of Business, and Hofstra University.

Megan is also a fierce advocate for the arts, serving as a Trustee of the Hunterdon Art Museum in Clinton, NJ, and as marketing coordinator for a local community theatre program. She holds a degree in Communication Studies from The College of New Jersey and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Quantic School of Business and Technology.
