Jordon Peugh

Chief Business Officer

Jordon is happiest buried in a book, devotedly writing letters, or traveling at any opportunity. She is immensely proud of her talented teenager and shares that joy with everyone around her. A brilliant seamstress, Jordon’s sense of creativity is an asset in her approach to research. She has been conducting social science research for discerning clients (academic, governmental, nonprofit, and private sectors) for more than two decades. Since joining SSRS in 2013, she has been instrumental in the design and execution of countless studies. Working on behalf of clients, Jordon has helped to spur the growth and reputation of SSRS.

Her professional passion is health care and policy research. Jordon has led health policy teams at GfK, Knowledge Networks, and Harris Interactive. She has conducted research at the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services and the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University. She started her training with a master’s degree in Sociology from New York University, where she concentrated in public policy and social movements.

Today, Jordon leads the SSRS Sales and Client Service teams, directing research development, innovation, and strategy. She manages a matrix of departments to ensure a seamless client experience. Her focus is identifying and preparing for industrywide research trends, managing the financial health of the business, and maintaining responsiveness in a complex environment.

Committed to serving the research industry, Jordon is a dedicated member of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR). She served on Executive Council as Secretary-Treasurer and Communications Chair, and on multiple standing and ad hoc committees. She coaches future generations by leading professional development short courses at national and regional conferences. Jordon usually only tweets during the AAPOR annual conference but follow her on twitter anyway!
