The Pew Charitable Trusts with SSRS released a report examining the views of Gen Z Philadelphians about living and working in the city.
They offered a variety of views that could help city and business leaders better understand this cohort’s opinions on factors such as workplace practices, remote work, neighborhood safety, and commuting—and potentially help keep them in the city.
SSRS, an independent research firm under contract with The Pew Charitable Trusts, designed and conducted 10 virtual focus groups with young adults ages 18-29 living in Philadelphia. The study design and questionnaire were reviewed and approved by the independent Institutional Review Board (IRB) at the University of Southern Maine.
