The SSRS Opinion Panel Omnibus is a multi-client, probability-based survey that fields twice a month. It delivers a nationally representative sample of 1,000 adults aged 18 or older in English (with a Spanish language option).

SSRS Opinion Panel Omnibus Survey Design and Data Collection

Sample Design

The SSRS Opinion Panel Omnibus uses sample from the probability-based SSRS Opinion Panel which recruits randomly selected panelists based on a nationally representative Address Based Sample (ABS) design with a prepaid cell RDD supplement.

Survey Design

The SSRS Opinion Panel Omnibus is a probability-based, multi-mode survey.
Most respondents participate online (CAWI).
Live telephone interviewing available to those who don’t use the internet or who prefer phone surveys (CATI).
All panelists take surveys in their preferred language (English or Spanish).

Standard Deliverables

Every SSRS Opinion Panel Omnibus survey includes the following deliverables at no extra charge:

Weighted SPSS data file with standard demographics (also available in Excel, CSV, or SAS)
Weighted crosstabs with standard banner

Schedule

The SSRS Opinion Panel Omnibus generally goes into field on the first and third Friday of every month and is in field for 4 days, with standard deliverables processed by EOD Tuesday.

Questionnaire finalized by Monday 12PM ET
Data collection is Friday through Monday
Standard deliverables provided to client by close of business on Tuesday
Bilingual and custom deliverables provided to client by close of business on Wednesday

Oversamples

The SSRS Opinion Panel Omnibus can deliver more than the standard N=1,000 through oversampling. You can request the following types of oversamples for an added cost:

General Population: Additional nationally-representative completes.
Specific Populations: Additional completes within a subpopulation of your choice (e.g., parents, young people, Hispanics, etc).

First Three Questions (Three Question Minimum): $1,000 per Question
Questions Four and Beyond: $750 per Question
Open-ended Question (No Coding): $1,000 per Question

Additional Custom Profile Variables: $500 per Variable

*A “question” is defined as a simple, straightforward, closed-ended question, such as yes/no question, a checklist of up to 10 response categories, or a ratings scale that’s administered to up to 4 items. Pricing assumes we receive questions ready for survey administration from the client and does not include questionnaire consultation.
